Los Angeles & Destination Wedding Photographer

I shouldn’t have been surprised when it happened, but it blew me away when it did. Lorenz glided on to the dance floor in his immaculately tailored tux and beckoned Cynthia on to the dance floor with just the strength of his posture. Just a quick tug on the lapels and a cursory check of his cufflinks and Cynthia was soon in position. It was a dance full of humour, intensity and passion. In a way I wish I didn’t have a camera in front of my face so I could have stood back and admired. The dance was the Milonga which as I understand it is similar to the Tango but is a more ‘rustic’ version which affords more relaxation in the arms and legs. The dance is Argentinian, so is Cynthia, and the guests were mesmerised.

In addition to the Milonga, there were many great highlights from this wedding which I hope I did justice to. There were those loving smiles Cynthia gave Lorenz during the ceremony, the dress made by Cynthia’s grandmother, the moment Lorenz took their daughter Victoria to one side to present her with a beautiful diamond cross necklace, the dance between Lorenz and Victoria, and the good humoured visit from Costa Mesa’s finest! What a party, what a day, what a simply beautiful family.

Wow captured what looks like an incredible wedding and real fun party! Its true, You get strong sense of luxury and lifestyle with a massive amount of faith and family without even knowing the people. I haven’t always known if id find myself getting married, but one thing I do know is if/when it happens Im arranging it around your schedule Richard. Consider yourself booked!

Rich
The comments above by the groom says it all, fantastic photos as always

Richard,
we hired a wedding photographer and received an artist with a lense. I figured that we were on the right track when we agreed that candid moments tend to be the best photographed as it captures the reality of that situation. You my friend, managed to capture and further convey the given moment and associated emotions. To refer to your photos as anything less than “art” would be completely inaccurate bordering criminal.
An important aspect of Richards work is to note the sheer number of quality, and breathtaking photos. I believe that this is a function of several factors, one being Richards untiring work ethic. The moment that Richard arrives it is “go time”. I was amazed to see how Richard would rally from one location to photograph (my beautiful and hot bride) getting ready, to the hotel where I was staying just so he can capture the “construction” phase of the wedding parties. Once on location, Richard looks like a chemist mixing different light and background mediums and his signature hiding places just to capture his intended target, without the target ever seeing him – does the term “photo-ninja”, exist? If so, Richard Clarke is that masked man.
In conclusion, I have made 3 great decisions: to get engaged, to marry my beautiful wife, and to hire Richard Clarke to photograph the event. Richard, you sir, are a professional of talented proportion and have set the standard for professional photographer. Be prepared to cover future events for the Marquez family. Anybody is welcome to contact me via email or mobile phone with any questions, comments or observations.

Not your traditional wedding photographs, but the again Cynthia and Lorenz’ wedding was far from traditional. You managed to captured everything that was important to them that day, every detail and preserved it for a lifetime. Your photographs reflect the strong faith they share; their beautiful daughter, Victoria; their passion for music and dance; the love for their Latin culture; Lorenz’ admiration for fast cars; Cynthia’s wedding gown sewn for her by her grandmother, and their stong ties to family and friends. It is as if you have known Cynthia and Lorenz personally for years. Your work is stunning and left me in awe as I glanced through all the photographs.

Thank you for the kind words Susan. Glad you like them!

You render me speechless once again. Too good my friend.
