Much like my wedding photography, I prefer to observe and document for the majority of the time, with some orchestration, rather than continual posing. Family shoots will always include some posed portraits but my aim is to ensure they are as natural as possible with genuine smiles and that those brief yet real moments in-between are also captured.

Shoots can happen outside at an agreed location or at your family home. The latter negates any worries about weather conditions and to be honest, some of my favourite family shoots have been in the family home, where people feel more relaxed and confident just being themselves.

These shoots are about letting you guys be you and creatively capturing your personalities and how you exist together. Honest yet slightly polished :)

Everything is delivered to you within 2 weeks of the shoot, usually sooner.

As standard, you will receive a short Slideshow (set to music) of the best moments and an online picture gallery of the high resolution, edited photographs. You get to download these files for free and have access to an online print lab if the digital product is not enough.

If you opt for a Digital + Print package, you will receive all the digital files plus the agreed physical print items.

I keep my pricing approach for family lifestyle & portrait shoots super simple.

I'm not that photographer who releases a few images then has you come into the studio so you can spend more to get access to more images and prints. With me, it's one flat fee to cover my time and you get a lot of edited images from the shoot.

We love selling prints/albums too, those are important, but the basic package is full of real value as standard, and often more than you need.
