Hello! Getting straight to the point, if your currently looking at St Giles House Wedding Photography options, I’d really love to chat with you. I’m a wedding photographer who has recently relocated to Dorset after spending the last 10 years photographing weddings in the United States and across the globe. I was born in Cornwall, studied in Devon, lived and worked in London for 8 years as an Account Director in the IT industry before moving to Los Angeles and starting up Clarkie Photography.
Since moving back to the UK, I’ve been exploring the best wedding venues here in Dorset and St Giles House is at the top of my list of places to photograph at. With its rich history, magnificent architecture and captivating landscapes, the estate offers a stunning number of opportunities for breathtaking photographs. I also love the internal light quality in the rooms. Timeless, editorial bride and groom portraits in perfect window light always get my creative juices flowing. I don’t see many other venues in the UK offering such a variety of historic and refined settings.
My focus when shooting is always to tell a coherent and powerful story through captured moments, so whilst I always produce beautiful portraits with an editorial feel, I’m always driven by capturing real emotions and interactions. Not just the obvious moments one expects during a wedding day but so often it’s the moments in-between that matter the most. The story of your day must reflect how it felt otherwise I won’t have done my job properly. I’ve included some photos below which I hope go some way to illustrating how I view the world and perhaps how I would approach your wedding day at St Giles House. I wish I had images from the venue already but I haven’t been so lucky yet – so that’s where you come in!
Please do explore my wider portfolio and blog to get a feel for how I tell stories. If you’d like to chat and about me shooting your St Giles House Wedding, please don’t hesitate to get in touch. You can do that HERE.
