First things first, if you missed Day 1 – be sure to view that blog post here.
Day 2 of Emily and Jig’s incredible London wedding was held at The Chainstore Lighthouse, Trinity Bouy Wharf. I actually attended two Trinity Bouy Wharf weddings during my time in London which was pure coincidence but seeing how versatile a venue it is and given its wonderful location on the Thames just across from the Millennium Dome, I can see why it’s so popular. Built in 1834, The Chainstore building is connected to London’s only Lighthouse. As a venue it serves as a great canvas for couples to add their own mark as far as setup and decorations are concerned.
This was a uniquely emotional day and it was my absolute privilege to be part of. The readings and vows during the ceremony were some of the most touching I’ve heard, the speeches and subsequent outpourings of emotion amongst friends and family were priceless, and the atmosphere on the dance floor after the sun had set over the Thames was so full of life and intensity. I had the best time on that dance floor trying to capture the mayhem. Incredible scenes…
Congratulations Emily & Jig and thanks for trusting in me to capture your two days of amazingness. So great to see you both so happy together.
Huge thanks to Steve Gerrard who helped me out with this one. Really fun working with you and hope to do so again when you move across the pond yourself! It was also a pleasure to work with Melanie and her professional team at Cranberry Blue Weddings & Events.
