Day 2 of Emily and Jig’s incredible London wedding was held at The Chainstore Lighthouse, Trinity Bouy Wharf. I actually attended two Trinity Bouy Wharf weddings during my time in London which was pure coincidence but seeing how versatile a venue it is and given its wonderful location on the Thames just across from the Millennium Dome, I can see why it’s so popular. Built in 1834, The Chainstore building is connected to London’s only Lighthouse. As a venue it serves as a great canvas for couples to add their own mark as far as setup and decorations are concerned.
This was a uniquely emotional day and it was my absolute privilege to be part of. The readings and vows during the ceremony were some of the most touching I’ve heard, the speeches and subsequent outpourings of emotion amongst friends and family were priceless, and the atmosphere on the dance floor after the sun had set over the Thames was so full of life and intensity. I had the best time on that dance floor trying to capture the mayhem. Incredible scenes…

This is a truly gripping set of images my friend. I was hooked from beginning to end.
Rich, where do we start….. Thank you!! Through your lens you have captured perfectly the best days of our lives. Our photos reflect your skill and passion, and our emotion, and we are so so grateful. We understand that having two separate wedding ceremonies, across two days and back to back, was a big job (!) but at every step of the way you were calm, smiling and in exactly the right position to capture the moment.
The two days were distinctively different; a traditional Hindu ceremony with the bright colours and rituals of the temple, and a white wedding against the backdrop of London. The slide shows you created, backed by our favourite music, have brought a tear to the eye of everyone who has watched them, and are a fantastic memento. How you edited the hundreds of photos you took – we’re not sure – but as a result we have the most incredible wedding photo gallery that tells the complete story of both wedding days from start to finish.
Having worked together in the past (albeit in a very different field to photography!) when Jig and I learnt that you had started a wedding photography business, and we took a look at your portfolio, we didn’t even consider anyone else to take our photos. And now we have seen the end results, we are your biggest advocates! We wish you all the best with your new career and could not recommend you highly enough to future brides & grooms.
